Overview
True to its name, The Mill is set within the former mill house, and its working past is still part of its character. The kitchen and dining room sit right in the heart of the old mill workings, and the original water wheel pit and chute are still visible on the outside of the building, a lovely reminder of the building's history. Inside there are three bedrooms and a bright open-plan kitchen, living and dining room, wrapped in large windows so you can sit back and take in the views of the hills and beyond. Outside, a private patio and garden give you a peaceful spot to relax, with parking for up to three cars. It's a characterful, spacious base with genuine heritage and the countryside on full display.

Stargazing guide
The Mill's best stargazing feature is its wall of large windows around the living room: on a clear night you can sit back in the warmth and watch the stars appear over the hills without stepping outside, ideal when it's cold or breezy. When you're ready for the full effect, the private patio and garden give you an open, unobstructed view of the sky away from any indoor light. Set in a quiet rural spot with little light pollution, this is the kind of place where the night sky reveals far more than you'd ever see in a town, on a clear, moonless night you can expect the Milky Way, bright planets and the occasional meteor.
