Heale Farm Cottage

Heale Farm Cottage is a traditional North Devon stone cottage, once a barn, lovingly restored in 2020 and tucked away on a small hill farm at the end of a long lane in the tiny hamlet of Heale, near Parracombe, deep within Exmoor National Park. Furnished in soft, natural tones and full of character, it sleeps five across three ground-floor bedrooms, with a slate-floored family bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area where the whole group can gather over dinner, watching the horses and lambs graze through the window. The heart of the cottage is the first-floor sitting room, with its vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, log-burning stove, snuggly sofas and open views to the moor, the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine. Outside, a walled private garden with patio, a Kadai fire bowl and BBQ looks out over spectacular Exmoor scenery. Dog-friendly, wonderfully peaceful, and with sea and moor views, it's a proper away-from-it-all Exmoor escape, right down to the sound of the farm's own chickens preparing your breakfast eggs.
